Are dark tentacles of the underworld holding some Selangor reps?

Is it not obvious that the Chinese triads have their dark tentacles creeping into the nook and crannies of Selangor state? These slimy hands have found their ways into equally slimy political characters.

Recent statements by MP for Wangsa Maju Wee Choo Keong obviously point too this. Wee was formerly in the DAP and being long in Klang Valley politics, his knowledge of the underworld and what makes it tick is no jest.

Now, having made inroads into the state government, it makes things easier for them. Just look at the huge number of health centres, spas, massage parlours and illegal gaming outlets in Selangor. Who would you guess are behind the operations and protection of these outlets? On top of that, the illegal factories in Selangor have not gone away. They are still operating full swing to the extent that someone has been placed in-charge of these illegal factories.

The fact that Teoh Hock Beng was the political aide to Ean Yong Hian Wah who was the Permanent Committee Chairman of New Villages and Management of Illegal Factories (he’s the man) cannot be a mere coincidence. Teoh was privy to a lot of information, some of which may be too risky if they fall into the wrong hands.

His death sends a signal of the risks associated to any breach of secrecy. For this reason, the DAP is in panic. Lim Guan Eng said, “MACC should stop its political persecution of PR, especially DAP leaders and members that does not serve the interest of fighting corruption or justice. Such political games have caused the loss of life of a bright young idealistic DAP member”.

Guan Eng’s father is calling for a Royal Commission. How convenient! He knows that any inquiry especially a Royal one will stall investigations and perhaps buy time to damage control with the triads. At his age, surely he must know the taikohs. Perhaps can kaw tim they say.
